I just got a Toshiba laptop and I’m having some minor problems with it, any suggestions?
I’ve had the laptop for a few weeks now. I’ve never had a laptop so some of the features are new to me. For one, when I use the touch pad mouse on the computer it will zoom in and out on the page at random. Also, my pointer has now turned to a less-than-accurate magnifying glass pointer and I don’t know how to change it back. Also, when I type, sometimes the cursor will skip into a random part of the sentence and start typing there. And sometimes the mouse will freeze up and though I can move it around I can’t click anything. Can anyone help?
+My company once had Toshiba as a vendor. We dumped them as soon as the contract expired. They aren’t very well made and the customer service is atrocious. However, the problem you are describing in not unfamiliar. We usually had to have the palm-rests replaced on the units to fix this problem. I hope you are under warranty.
