20V Universal AC Adapter not working?
My universal charger won’t work on my 20v laptop. The original adapter got busted few days ago and the computer guy said they couldn’t repair it unless i buy a new one but im running low on cash right now..so I have to use this universal charger thingy. so when i set the voltage to 20v the laptop is on and it says CHARGING but its not!! yet its decreasing..i dont get it please help.

2) Output Current is the same or higher than that of your old charger.
For example, if your original adapter provides 3.42 Amps, then you can use a charger that provides 3.42 Amps, 3.9 Amps or higher.
3) Connector tip must fit securely into your laptop.
So you can determine if the “universal” charger works for that. Also if it is a Dell then most likely it wouldn’t work with universal chargers.

I have a Compaq v2000 notebook and the ac port is broken. It broke when the laptop fell with the ac adapter still connected and the ac port got loose and now it won’t work. I opened up my notebook down to the motherboard and from what I can see it’s a loose ac port with another little part that’s under the ac port (sorry don’t know what it is called, but it does push down when you apply pressure).

This just happened recently. Whenever i try to change my wallpaper, none of the images show up.
