I recently purchased Flip Ultra HD camcorder experienced a lot in this days. So a thought came in mind to give a review to all who are yet to buy or thinking of buying a camcorder.
It has High-definition video footage, a bigger LCD screen (2 inches instead of 1.5 inches), longer recording time and battery life. The Ultra Flip is a pocket-size camera that aims to make video recording easy. So its easy to carry on for travelers.
The Ultra isn’t as inexpensive as it once was. You can buy entry-level camcorders from Canon, Sony and others in the $300-to-$400 range, where the big advantage is longer recording time and major zooms. Sony’s DCR-SR85, which sells for $365 on Amazon, has a 25X zoom, compared with 2X on the Flip. Samsung’s $249 SC-MX20 has a 34X zoom. However, most of the entry-level video cameras don’t shoot in high-definition, which offers brighter colors and a wider image. The Ultra HD shoots in the 720p resolution, one step below the top 1080p format.

Isn’t it better to buy Omnia HD instead of Flip Ultra HD.After all Omnia HD is such a powerful smartphone so many other useful features whereas Flip HD is just a standalone camcorder.

Windows Vista HP laptop connected to home linksys network, but there is not internet?
I’ve been using this laptop to connect to my home linksys network for months now, but for no reason it just stopped working. I used the windows troubleshoot menu, and it said it would reset my ip address, but it wasnt able to resolve the problem. I am apparently able to send packages but not receive. This is really frustrating and I would appreciate any help.
And I’m posting this question from another laptop which appears to have no problem connecting to the internet on this network.
I have a Vista laptop connecting via a Linksys Wireless AP, then to a Linksys router to the Internet. It works just fine. I have found that the Linksys router, even though it has a DHCP server enabled, does not send the proper DHCP Setup response. So you may want to check the settings on the laptop you are using at the moment, and go into betwork setup and see what’s missing. Also, make sure the SSID on the Wireless router has not been changes. For linksys gear you can usually connect to http://192.168.1.1/ Leave the username field blank and use the default password of “admin” to access the router. the 192.168.1.1 is the default address for Linksys routers, unless changed ( which most people do not do…) You should be avle to navigate to the Wireless setup and find the information you need.
