Okay basically Iv had my laptop for nearly a year now..and so far no problems.
I tried opening my pictures the other day and it said windows has stopped working…windows is checking for a solution…windows is restarting.
now it didnt restart my whole laptop but it close my pictures down, i tried looking again and it did it again. so i pressed help and followed the guidelines..like restarting my whole laptop etc..but nothing helps..its really annoying because i cant look at any of my pictures or even upload them on to websites.
its a hp laptop, im using windows vista..but my problem with mypictures have only just began
please help..or tell me similar problems and what you did to sort them.

First thing do a virus scan. The problem could also be caused by new software you may have installed recently. If so try taking that program off and try opening pictures again. Sometimes old programs can mess with Vista. I had a problem like this with trend micro

Simple explanation: No drivers = no printing.
If you are worried about space, just install the “basic drivers” and not all the extras, but understand that Depending on your printer, you might not be able to scan things into your PC, fax something from your PC, etc if that is the type of printer you have.
Drivers take up Hard Drive space. If you don’t want the “extras” running in the background taking up RAM (memory) you can just remove them from startup.
